About BRENDA
BRENDA is a comprehensive enzyme information database.
Content
BRENDA has information on enzyme-ligand interactions, functional parameters and molecular properties, and structure.
Enzyme-Ligand Interactions includes information on substrates and products, cofactors, metals and ions, and inhibitors and activators.
Functional Parameters are biochemical activities of the enzyme, such as KM, Ki, turnover number, specific activity, pH and temperature range and optima.
The Enzyme Structure section has information on sequence, 3D structure, crystallization conditions, and posttranslational modifications.
