Penassay Broth is a rich growth medium for bacteria, which is used for antibiotic assay testing.[1] Another name for Penassay Broth is Antibiotic Medium 3.

Recipe

Bacto Penassay Broth contains (per liter)[2]:

Bacto-Beef Extract

Bacto-Yeast Extract

1.5 g

Bacto-Peptone

5.0 g

Bacto-Dextrose

1.0 g

Sodium Chloride

3.5 g

Dipotassium Phosphate

3.68 g

1.32 g
