Welcome to EcoliWiki,

PortEco's (formerly EcoliHub) subsystem for community annotation.
Our goal for EcoliWiki is to generate community-based pages about
everything related to non-pathogenic E. coli, its phages, plasmids, and
mobile genetic elements. Yes, we mean everything...in the long run.

How to Contribute

EcoliWiki is for everyone. There are lots of ways you can help us make EcoliWiki better:

EcoliWiki participates in the RefGenome project. To see a list of the E. coli targets click here.

EcoliWiki members can use EcoliWiki in ways that are not available to unregistered users. Read more about user accounts at EcoliWiki membership. Or just email the EcoliWiki Team at ecoliwiki@gmail.com if you have more questions!


What's New

Strain genealogies on EcoliWiki
We’ve added strain genealogies for E. coli K-12 and E. coli B based on Bachmann (2009) and Daegelen (2009).  The lineages can be expanded and contracted by clicking on the + symbols.  Each node is a link to a page in the wiki where additional information can be viewed or edited.  If anyone knows of additional information that should be added to the laboratory E. coli family trees, please let us know.... Bioinformatics Workshop on Thurs at Phage Meeting
There is a bioinformatics workshop on Thursday August 4th from 2-5pm during the Phage Meeting.  It is being held in the Old Madison Room in Memorial Union Building (not in the Microbial Sciences building).  Stop by and see a live demo of PortEco, EcoCyc and EcoliWiki. (Read more)
