Notes

Energy taxis includes aerotaxis, redox taxis and glycerol taxis. aer is up-regulated by FlhCD and CRP. aer mutants are down for genes involved in anaerobic respiration and the Entner-Doudoroff pathway. The six operons up-regulated by Aer are dmsABC, fdnGHI, frdABCD, glpAB, nrfABCDE and edd.[4]
