Redox enzyme maturation protein (REMP) for NarG; facilitates molybdenum insertion; binds NarG
|Function from GO|
See Help:Quickview for help with entering information in the Quickview table.
NarJ has two NarG binding sites: one for Mo insertion and one to block membrane attachment via NarI until activation is complete. Induced by anaerobiosis plus nitrate. NarJ is essential for a Tat-dependent interaction between NarG and Mo proteins.
