About

Description (originally from EcoCyc[1][2]) recBCD

Comments (originally from EcoCyc[1][2]) RecB, RecC, and RecD make up a helicase/nuclease complex that is essential for both homologous recombination during the course of transduction and conjugation as well as in repair of double-strand breaks in Escherichia coli [3][4][5][6][7][7][8][9][10].
