Notes

UbiE is the closest E. coli homolog to B. stearothermophilus MenG (MenH, SP O86169). ubiE mutants accumulate DMK, not MK. rraA (menG) does not encode a methyltransferase. Binds TrxA (Kumar, 2004).[4]
